That's almost kind of a record for me. I think I went a week or so around a year ago. Anyways, as part of this health kick, I'm cutting out soda all together. I can't stand diet soda though. I have been drinking iced-tea and water instead, with the occasional coffee or sparkling water. Also, I got up and walked the dogs this morning, even though it was raining and I was TOTALLY not feeling it. It wasn't so bad, but I really didn't feel like doing it. Yesterday, it was Leah's turn, so I took a walk at lunch down in Pioneer Square to make up for not walking in the morning. I mapped my route in Google Maps just for fun here. It was just around 1900 steps on the pedometer, although yesterday's total was only 3600 steps or so. I am a real slacker. Today won't be much better unless I walk the dogs again tonight. We'll see how we feel after dinner, it's still cloudy and rainy.
[this is good]
Diet soda isn't good for you, anyways. I read that, despite it having no calories, it keeps you from losing weight so drinking soda, diet or not, is kind of a lose-lose thing.
I've been slacking off a lot, as well, only I've been slacking off for about two or three months now. The only upside to my slacking off is that I'm still exercising about 3 times a week and have therefore kept from putting any weight back on. I think that's how I am...I'll go real hard for a month, kill it, then fall back into my slacker ways. I can't seem to pull it together.
Good luck! :D

The coke thing is great. I'm so proud of us not having any soda. After finding out that the fructose makes you want to eat more at meals I am less inclined to want it.
Getting 10,000 steps seems impossible to me at this point (not to be a debbie downer but...)
